Mobile Pizza Catering in Aldridge, Manchester, Peterborough and Pelsall (West Midlands)
It was another varied four-event week for Big Slice, taking our mobile pizza catering from regular workplace lunches and a children’s party to a milestone birthday and one of our popular pub pop-ups.
Between Thursday 15 October and Sunday 18 October 2026, we catered across Aldridge, Manchester, Peterborough and Pelsall. Each booking needed a different style of service, showing how Big Slice can adapt to corporate workplaces, private parties and public events.
Thursday 15 October: workplace lunch catering at Surespan in Aldridge, West Midlands
We started the week with another visit to Surespan in Aldridge for our regular pay-as-you-go lunchtime service.
Our workplace pop-ups give employees the opportunity to buy freshly stone-baked pizza during their lunch break without the company needing to arrange a prepaid catering package. We arrive with the Big Slice van, prepare the pizzas on site and serve them while they are fresh and hot.
Regular bookings like this are particularly valuable to us because they show that customers enjoy both the food and the reliability of our service. They also allow businesses to offer their staff something different from the usual packed lunch or nearby takeaway.
Pay-as-you-go catering can work well for staff appreciation days, workplace lunches, factory sites, business parks and corporate open days across the West Midlands.
Friday 16 October: children’s party catering in Manchester
On Friday evening, we travelled north to Manchester to provide pizza and fries for a children’s party.
Pizza is always a popular party choice, but mobile catering also makes life easier for the organiser. Instead of collecting multiple takeaway orders or trying to keep food warm, everything can be cooked and served at the event.
The children and their families could enjoy freshly prepared pizza alongside hot fries, providing relaxed party food that was simple to serve and easy for guests to enjoy.

Saturday 17 October: a 50th birthday celebration in Peterborough
Saturday’s booking took us to Peterborough for a 50th birthday celebration. The event was booked through our partner platform, Togather, and the customer selected our full pizza service for 35 guests.
We served the party during the late afternoon, providing freshly stone-baked pizza for the guests as they celebrated this important milestone together.
A 50th birthday is exactly the kind of occasion where mobile pizza catering works brilliantly. It feels more memorable than a standard delivery while remaining relaxed and sociable. Guests can enjoy the celebration while our team handles the cooking and service.

Sunday 18 October: Queen’s Pub pop-up in Pelsall, West Midlands
We finished the week close to home with our pay-as-you-go pop-up at the Queen’s Pub in Pelsall.
Pub pop-ups give local customers the chance to enjoy the Big Slice menu without needing to attend a private event. Guests can order their favourite pizzas and jumbo slices while enjoying an afternoon at the pub.
