A Busy Week of Stone-Baked Pizza Catering – Derby, Aldridge, Oxford & Taunton
It’s been another busy week on the road for Big Slice, serving hundreds of hungry guests across the country with our fresh, stone-baked pizza catering.
From pre-wedding celebrations and corporate catering to tipi weddings and post-wedding food, the van has certainly covered some miles this week!
Wednesday – Pre-Wedding Pizza Catering in Derby
We started the week in Derby, providing our stone-baked pizza catering for a pre-wedding celebration.
The evening went down so well that we were asked to come back just a few days later for their post-wedding event on Sunday evening.
Getting booked again before we’ve even left is always one of the best compliments we can receive!
Thursday – Back to Surespan in Aldridge event catering
Thursday brought us closer to home for our regular bi-weekly pay-as-you-go event in Aldridge, feeding the hardworking team at Surespan.
These regular corporate events are always enjoyable, with fresh pizzas cooked to order and served straight from the Big Slice van.
Whether it’s a one-off company event or regular workplace catering, keeping things simple, quick and delicious is exactly what we do.

Friday – Tipi Wedding Catering in Oxford
Friday took us down to Oxford for evening food at a fantastic outdoor wedding celebration.
Pizza, a field and a tipi — you can’t ask for much more of a wedding vibe!

Saturday – Post-Wedding Catering in Taunton
Saturday meant a much longer journey as the Big Slice van headed to Taunton for another post-wedding celebration.
After the main wedding day is over, pizza is ideal for bringing everyone back together for something relaxed, informal and easy to enjoy.
Fresh pizzas, good company and no complicated sit-down catering required.
Sunday – Back to Derby!
To finish the week, it was back to Derby to cater the post-wedding event for the same customers we had served on Wednesday.
From pre-wedding celebration to post-wedding gathering, we were delighted to be part of both occasions.
