This Week at Big Slice: Pizza Catering in Aldridge, Cannock, Stroud & Pelsall
From a workers’ lunch in Aldridge to a grand opening in Cannock, an 18th birthday in the Cotswolds and a Sunday pub pop-up in Pelsall, it has been a varied start to October for Big Slice.
Between 1st and 4th October 2026, we took our stone-baked pizzas to four different events, each with its own reason to bring people together.
Thursday 1st October: Workers’ Lunch at Surespan, Aldridge
Our week started with a return to Surespan in Aldridge for our regular lunchtime pizza pop-up.
These visits give the workers a chance to enjoy freshly prepared, stone-baked pizza during their lunch break. It is always good to return to a familiar stop on the Big Slice calendar.
Workplace pop-ups are one way to bring pizza to your team. We also provide corporate pizza catering for staff appreciation days, company celebrations and business events, with the service arranged around your plans.
Saturday 3rd October, Lunchtime: PadelExpo Grand Opening in Cannock
Saturday lunchtime took us to Cannock for the PadelExpo grand opening, where we teamed up with Really Awesome Coffee.
The combination for the open day was simple: free pizza slices and coffee! Big Slice provided the stone-baked pizzas, while Really Awesome Coffee took care of the coffee.
It was a pleasure to be part of the launch and work alongside another mobile catering business. Food and drink can be a welcoming part of an opening day, giving visitors something to enjoy as they get to know a new business.

Saturday 3rd October, Evening: An 18th Birthday Pizza Buffet in Stroud
After Cannock, we headed to Stroud in the Cotswolds for an evening celebrating an 18th birthday.
For this party, the customer chose our Pizza Only Buffet: freshly prepared, stone-baked pizza served buffet-style for the birthday celebration.
An evening pizza buffet is a relaxed option for a milestone birthday, allowing guests to enjoy their food around the celebration. Whether you are planning an 18th, 21st, 30th or another special birthday, we can help you choose a service to suit your gathering.

Sunday 4th October: Pizza Pop-Up at the Queen Pub, Pelsall
We finished the week closer to home with a Sunday afternoon pop-up at the Queen Pub in Pelsall, Walsall.
There is more to come: this will become a regular Big Slice pop-up.
